Why on earth are these loans for reserve players not sorted out much earlier, like first week in July. Thse players were never getting first team experience so why carry the wages for extra months when they can learn about tactics under proper coahes. Our DoF and his staff should be made to work during the 'normal' holiday months and take their hols in Sept/Oct instead.

Lucas Neill was Sep 2009 and we sold him in January 2010. His last act was to deflect a shot into the net that ruled out Pienaar’s chip in the snow being the winner against Arsenal at the Emirates.

I know our finances are shambolic but it baffles me that even french clubs seem to be making more deals than us and I thought other than psg and a couple other exceptions that entire league was struggling on the economic front?
