Mate, he played there because Gareth Southgate put him there, and he was not good.

He’s literally played less than 10 games at left back. The notion that he can play left back is absolutely weird.

You’re right .. we should use young or McNeil there when we need cover …

At present we don’t NEED a LB for our starting 11 … we need one for cover … but we are desperate for a starting RB and have been for about 5 years .

We simply cannot afford two sad as that may be so getting one is our only realistic option

Whether I do or don’t (and I think he’s bin juice) isn’t really an issue as much as he would be a £30m Neal Maupey, incapable of doing anything on his own, incapable of holding the ball up and entirely reliant on creativity behind him for which we have none. Eddie Nketiah is 24, has hardly lit up an Arsenal side that create chances for fun, have most of the ball each game and he’s found wanting time and time again. Everton need to swerve paying overinflated prices for unsuitable players who already look incapable at this level even though they are playing for one of the best teams.
Absolutely mad shout saying he should of been our priority signing, mad.

Possibly because due to his personality 95% (@Goat ) of teams won't go near him on that alone

Initial fee was wrong. The total package now is around £8.4m.

Have we ever looked at Josh Sargent at Norwich?
I don't think his wages would be a problem as he is on half of what we pay Maupay .
They paid 9.5m for him so you are probably looking at 20m , I think he will definitely end up back in the prem.
