Did we really need both Lindstrom and Ndiaye and Lindstrom and two more CMs?

We needed primarily a new CF in, then a RB...then the others could be targeted.

The CMs we absolutely needed. Couldn’t go with 2 first team CMs when we use 2 per game.

Ndiaye is an upgrade on Doucoure, and can also fill in wide and even up front if we need to tweak. Lindstrom is the one that maybe feels a bit superfluous, though the argument will be he can fill in anywhere along the line behind DCL; I guess he was available for very little outlay so we pounced.

CF was only ever gonna be if we sold DCL, I feel. Again, RB comment is spot on. I imagine, like me, you’re keeping your fingers crossed for Patterson to come good.
