That Archie Gray is 18, chill out. Another season in the championship might be the making of him.

If he stays in the championship and does well then he'll be off to a bigger club.

I think United may snap him up this summer with the policy apparently focusing on young talent.

He'd be ideal for us to rotate in/out at RB/DM for a season.

We lack midfield numbers and actual players who can play over a whole season at RB.

Kid has played 45 matches + England youth games. Machine.

Gray is living on his reputation. Summerville will be too expensive. Rutter - at least he can hit the target more than our forwards but not overly impressed.

Rutter's more of a number 10, eight goals all season.

I did think of Ampadu. Regular for Wales and can play DM and across the backline. Used to relegation battles aswell in his career so probably should've looked at him last summer when he went to Leeds for about 7m.

Tbh, rather see Mills given a chance for us rather than paying over the odds for him.

Surely Mills would be rotating with Harrison. Expect McNeil to rotate with Dobbin on the other side.

Unless any signings wide midfield were made.

Gray wouldnt be in wide midfield...

45 games worth of mins at 17/18 this season + England youth games...

Id have him rotating RB/DM and giving him time to develop.

He'd be a Chermiti type but both would be involved in alot of games next season if we could get him.

For me that's what would make Rutter an interesting option.

Summerville and Rutter both 22. Not old but theyve had a fair bit of development already.

I wonder if Gnonto may be good in the Doucoure role and/or wide right for us. Hes still 20 and has 2 years on the other 2.

But Leeds' big problem is the amount outstanding they have on future instalments. So it might make them MORE likely to accept instalments on sales as they desperately need scheduled incomings to cover their scheduled outgoings.
