Everton Summer 2024 Transfer Thread

How much do you think we will get for Maupay and Holgate ? 12m the pair.

Don’t think anyone will buy Keane

Maupay we need £4mil to breakeven FFP wise 'on the books'. Id hope for £10mil.

Hes 'proven' and scores goals...plus he has a snark which Brentford or a promoted club may want.

Would be nice if Burnley took him back

Going back to his Southgate crying when he was dropped by England...id hope he wants to play.

Also at his age its probably his last chance of a long term deal @Eggs has posted (as a former player) that it makes sense for someone with a year left to want the long term deal on a lower wage.

Brentford stopped playing Maupay the second Toney and Wissa were back available. Mbeumo is back now too, so I very much think that’ll be the last we see of Maupay in a Brentford shirt.

Toney will be going on strike for a move in the Summer.

I defo think Brentford will buy the little snake.

I hope so, but I think at best they’ll try and scavenge another loan out of us.

£10mil i reckon.

Even a promoted club would see him as a motivator and a fighter.

….it certainly becomes a temptation, especially for a player in 30s but much depends on the demand. An in-demand player might prefer to wait for a Bosman.

In respect of Holgate, @formerly manx toffee it would be a surprise to me if anybody offered money for him and he agreed to leave given his salary. He’s probably on as much as Branthwaite, maybe more.

Note Sheff Utd his hometown started him straight after his suspension.

A long term deal with them...?

He didn't show a lot of fight here, and has been only to happy with snide digs about his once and forever captain on faceboook of whatever it was.

A player a little bit keen on his own self importance. Whoever is picking the likes of Maupay and Beto out as strikers needs their prescription for glasses checked.

Sure they paying £72 grand a week in Championship, maybe he might take a hell of a drop or just see his last year out at Everton.

If you had a 1 year contract and were not playing.

Were offered a 5 year deal by your hometown club and 50% wages

What do you choose?

I would see out the last year on 70k, then sign for my hometown club on a free transfer and get a higher wage for the last few years of my career.

But I suspect Holgate or Keane or Godfrey will fill the void left by Branners.

1 of them will probably move on, probably Godfrey due to his age.
