Can see this deal being revived later on this week if they don't manage to make a sale.

I wouldn't be surprised if the DCL / Minteh deal resurfaces at some point with a compromise.

If the financials are what is being reported, we're absolutely right to walk way from that. Not a good deal.

Reckon they may take lower from French club with a decent buyback clause. Maybe why they wanted a high fee from us

glad club has walked away good we have targeted the lad but just not a deal we can be in for at this time. Need another two wingers for me so hopefully have more similar player like minteh.

All this is only coming from Newcastle side so i'd guess its Newcastle wanting to pay less for DCL in last year of contract.

£40m is far too much for us to be taking a chance on even if we had that kind of money.

He could be the next superstar, but he could just as easily be the next expensive flop to add to our ever growing list.

Could do when closer just think has alot of clubs in for him minteh. They got him for 6
Mill newcastle so hopefully club has other players scouted ready to go, i would try again for gnonto see what they would be looking for then look to get another winger

Yes i dont think is to pass it but more on how much the can spend, think they are trying make some big signings
