A fit and firing DCL will be the reason we’re competitive at all next season. Year on year improvement, occupies defenders, works hard amazing in the air. I think he’s a fantastic player.

I don’t think his actual skills have improved tho… he’s just grown more. He’s loving of an 11 game purple patch when football was weird with no fans

I like it when it’s not completely obvious who we want to sign because when it is we tend to end up overpaying for them like Sigurdsson, Bolasie, Keane, Richarlison even - everyone knew we wanted them and it was like we had to pay whatever their final figure was to save face in the end.

I miss the days we signed Fellaini out the blue and nobody knew who the hell he was!
