Say no to homophobic midfielders, thanks Kev

I’d take him back if he wears this to be unveiled.

The problem is our entire squad is being built around squad players and transitional signings.

If El Bobbles tweet is true, we are seriously a fair bit down our list IMO.

I see neither Idrissa or McNeill being our no 1 priorities when we finished in May.

Its back to the trenches lads, we're going to be coming under fire this season.
I’d say we’re scraping the barrel looking for players who we can put structured deals in place for. Think if we want to improve on last season we really need a bit more quality in one or two areas. Hoping for maybe one slightly more exciting signing before the season starts.

Is he homophobic though ? I know it’s a touchy subject but a lot of Africans religion is very important to them if they think that there going to offend there god or whatever they believe in then it’s obviously a big deal to them ,it would be different story if he was calling gay people names or something like that

I was worried about that seeing Fab's name attached to it until I read the full article in which Fab only says that Juve will let him go on a free and that the Mirror ( whose hit rate on rumours is worse than Chicos ) says we were interested some time ago.

We can all rest easy now - thanks Joey

Thing with Gana is he isn't a number 6. Never has been. He is a tremendous player, but he wants to go and win the ball back, he doesn't sit in front of the defence and screen it. If we want a number 6 to allow us to play a 433, Gana isn't the player you'd want doing it. He isn't brilliant on the ball, so he isn't going to play on the half turn and take the ball off the centre backs. He's a pressing machine and would be great in a double pivot with someone else who is better on the ball.

Also the other baggage with him now is his wages (over £100k per week), his age (32) and the small matter that we'd have to deal with the fallout about his pretty socially unacceptable views on homosexuality (or at least implied views).

Was great for us, but need to move past this one IMO

Its completely uninspiring mate, we've gotten worse to my mind.

Vanilla, all i can say is Vanilla to any of these potential signings, functional, pragmatic and lacking in any creativity or inspiration. If the club are padding out the squad im open minded, but I'm not convinced we are bringing these lads in as enabling players, for others this might be it.

McNeill
Idrissa,
Hot dog, Jumping frog.
Vinagre.

That's 4 do we really see us bring in more, given our wage bill and squad size.....im not wholly sure or hopeful.
