Gana and Onana only work in midfield together if there's a 3rd, more attacking-focused CM next to them. There's a real lack of goals in the team at the moment.
Maybe a 4-2-3-1 with Alli as the attacking mid? Though Frank seems insistent on playing 5 at the back

He does but It means we can also play a 4231 with Gana and Onana(if he is signed) or Doucs as a base with Alli or Iwobi pushing on. Doucs will still play a lot and I doubt Gana and Onana play together all the time you don't need two DMs at home. We forget how many games there are will be this season it's a contracted schedule would be good to have a range of options. Wonder who the two domestic loans will be I am guessing some kind of playmaker and a striker.
