I’m expecting we will have at best 3 points out of 15 by the end of august.
That fine if you think that but you just have to back the team last season showed us fans can push them over the line to win. Chelsea will be tough but we can get a result, then the villa game you dont kno what players we will bring in by then.

Why might the things he could do against League 1 players not be possible against PL players? Are you honestly asking?

So he can pass a ball in League 1 but not in the PL? Are these the things you’re suggesting? He can play in a 3 in League 1 but not in the PL?

I thought he was our best CB aside from Mina who I honestly can't say if he's better or worse since he doesn't play
Our best CB out of him, Holgate and Mina who never plays isn’t really much of a glowing reference.

Remember city at home? West Ham away? Spurs away? He was absolutely pathetic and cost us goals in so many games with his dithering and awful defensive play.

One of Holgate or Mina

We are not selling Keane no matter how many fans suggest it. Nor should he either because is far better than Holgate and Godfrey

Mina would make sense from an injury POV but I just don't think anyone will touch him for that reason.

I get the sense Lampard doesn't rate Keane but I could be wrong.

Spurs away I feel might have been worse than just Keane idk

I mean, that is a legitimate point isn’t it? It’s harder to do everything at the top level, that’s just a given surely?!

Why’s aiming a ball and hitting a pass harder in different leagues? It’s a very basic transferable skill. I fail to believe someone can be so intransigent to believe because he played the Burnley way for so long his Brentford years mean nothing going forwards.

That would make sense due to Keane being absolutely gash and being limp and lightweight.

Think of the top centre halves Lampard has played with, then he gets lumbered with Keane to manage. Must be giving him sleepless nights.

25m x 5 years = 5m per year
3 years 15m
10m left when signed a new contract
10m x 5 years = 2m per year
3 years left = 6m

Im saying if somebody asked to buy him I would start at 20m.

Your suggesting we ring around and offer him about for 9.4m, he would certainly have many takers at that amount.

Its a moot point, cos its unlikely hes sold, but if he was we would get about 20m, IMO.

No, I wouldnt pay 20m for Michael Keane, but we could get that.
Thank you for the straight answers. I don't agree with you, but I like the fact you've answered the questions.

You may well be right re book value.

I'd be astonished if anyone would offer £20m for Keane. Until someone does, it is indeed a moot point.

Well I’m not saying it is the case for tarkowski as such, I’m just talking about the principle of it. The higher the level you’re playing at the more difficult is to do things, pretty much everything. People are faster, stronger, have better game intelligence, are working to better tactical plans etc etc. It’s just common sense really. You wouldn’t expect someone’s goalscoring ability to transfer from league one to the PL would you? So why would any other skill be different? Ben Godfrey played central midfield in the lower leagues and by all accounts did it very well, but in the PL he’s got it all on to complete a 10 yard pass.
