Former colony mate everyone born before it gained independence was allowed french citizenship, still a fast track system for anyone from there living in France (takes about 12 months to qualify) Gueyes parents for example likely have dual citizenship if they where born before (I think 1960) the way tsx laws work as well there's usually a lower rate fir Citizens of a country rather than 'foreign workers' so on the cash they are on a no brainer they'd have it.

Nkounkou, Gbamin & Gomes seem like definite loans to me at this point. I’m not too sure on Mina and Allan…if Coady or another CB comes in I think Mina gets sold and he’s the fourth. But I also wouldn’t be surprised if Allan is also off on a small fee (similar to Gana). Lampard’s words on them yesterday was telling.
Wouldn’t surprise me to see 5 more players brought in to replace those 5 as we’d still have room for one more loan and a few weeks to assess the squad before the window closed. Gomes, Allan & Mina leaving would clear the wage decks further, too.
