Given DCL's injury problems we need both is the reality a wide forward and a out and out striker. But I am guessing we only get one.

You'd think Lamps would like a number ten type player too he loved Mount and he understands that position hmself, unless he thinks Gordon can grow into that or Onana will really be the one to push In from deeper. I guess its hard to get everything in one window. With a genuine striker we will be fine.

I believe French clubs generally do a lot of business on an instalment basis which might be why we are shopping there. I guess it makes sense as their TV income etc is lower to use transfers to add a predictable revenue stream over the course of a few years if it maybe adds a bit to the amount they get in overall. I think there is probably room to do a deal on a decent player from ligue 1.

Instalments makes sense financially for anyone really. Steady flow of income. Let’s face it we do a years week and get paid monthly for it, not really any different. Imagine if you got your wage at the start of the year, would it last?

So glad we are structuring deals much better and with actual brains.
