Indeed it is; if we went in with the same squad as we ended last season and no strikers I would be agreeing with you.

However our squad is much stronger than last season and we will acquire the striker.

You are talking like you expect us to win the PL; we will finish top 10 which means we will win one or two more games than we will lose, so accept we have no striker this week, know that we will have one next week, and be thankful that Frank sees that Rondon is not the answer.

To be fair initially there was a lot of fear that it would be months rather than weeks as with knee issues you never know for sure until you have it checked by the specialist to make sure there is no damage to the ligaments.

The only fear came from scaremongering Twitter accounts. We didn’t even know it was his knee at the time.

I don't expect us to win anything, I will be very surprised if we finish top ten, I just expect the club to have a decent squad that can actually field a forward of standard having sold our talisman. That isnt unrealistic. They should have addressed the forward position. And relying on DCL was asking for trouble. It's very poor. Anyway #coybs

They are; but we needed proper CB's and a ball winning midfield first because those were both incredibly poor and they addressed both; strikers next...

What's that thing about Rome was not built in a day; Everton were rubbish last season and now we are rebuilding; slow and steady...except when it comes to Rondon!
