Birds of a feather flock together
£50m for Gordon is unreal. If that‘s mean we can reinvest on 3 established attacking players we have no choice but to accept the offer.Rarely agree with you but here you're bang on !

He's a great actor ....beyond that I don't know..£14m for James Garner. Would you?
Will take Conor and Broja.
I said the same yesterday swap Gordon for Broja and Gallagher...
We all know they do they just say they are separate deals...yes because swap deals happen all the time...
Was the message from Wilfred?Had a message saying were in for Zaha, 10 months left on contract
Not exactly, but it would allow us to dramatically swell our spending beyond the £50m in. For these things apparently, the figures for transfers out go into the FFP accounts as £50m straight away (even though that fee will be paid in installments), whereas transfers in are amortised (so divided over length of contract). So we could arguably spend £50 m this summer, but it could be on several deals whose sum total is hugely in excess of £50m - the £50m would just cover expenditure this year.I read somewhere if we sell Gordon that would give us 100m to spend in FFP terms because he's home grown is that true?

Take both but do them separately. Gordon out for £50m plus sell-on clause. Gallagher in for £35m and Broja loan with option to buy with the Moise Kean money.I said the same yesterday swap Gordon for Broja and Gallagher...

The point is that he is the type of player teams want to buy, the rest you mention, not so much.I don’t know why everyone wants to sell AG.
He’s they type of player we should be keeping.
Off load the likes of Gomes, Mina and Rondon etc
Yeah, it might be technically Thelwell’s decision to make but a move this big shouldn’t happen without Frank on board, not with the season underway. That just risks fracturing the club entirely.Good point, but I was talking more generally.. i.e. FL is on board and it doesn’t cause issues
