What I find interesting is how some of yous welcomed coady (a massive kopite) into the club with open arms despite his massive hatred towards everton in the past including over celebrating wolves win against us last season in a game that could have sent us down.

Whereas Barkley an Evertonian through the youth system is given a really hard time and some don't want him back on the back of a decision he was probably advised to make by his agent.

Why do some of you act like Coady is the homecoming and Barkley is a villain? Genuine question.

I don't have a dislike of Barkley but from a completely footballing point of view I don't know he would contribute to us at the moment.

Coady was always a red supporter and never denied that, as a red why would he not celebrate after scoring against us ?

Barkley was an Everton player and a hero to lots. People are cross with him because of the manner of his leaving. There is no point in blaming the agent, Barkley signed the Chelsea contract and if Chelsea were prepared to wait he would have left for free.
The move has not been a big success for him but that wasn't known when he chose to leave.

Actions have consequences and we all have to live with the consequences of what we do in life.

Yeah I've had faith that we would only sell Gordon with a proper replacement, but the BIG problem is that we're not just replacing Gordon in that event, we're replacing Gordon and Richy...hence why it's probably too late to be securing deals for two impact attackers in a few days.

I think that there may be some truth in the rumour as we were linked with Traore a few days ago. It’s almost an acceptance that we can’t afford an effective wide player and therefore someone with pace to disrupt the other team when we are under pressure will do. Both James and Traore can do that they just lack that footballing intelligence.

Never watched him only YouTube but he’s 22 and highly regarded. I did check his stat percentages and they’re great.

Who else do you have in mind?

Well that skill certainly translates. The type of player I'd like to see brought in play with Gordon, not to replace him, though.
