People talk about them and swap deals as if they’re things that tend to happen these days and they either don’t or are exceedingly rare.

Perception is everything, they had a pretty bad end to the season, but at 1 point they were doing quite well.

I don’t know how true it’d actually be, but the narrative for any decent CM going there now will be that they want to learn under Gerrard.

Hopefully there’s a few big Lampard fans in world football who are very good and have contracts about to expire.
