Or alternatively if the £25m bid for Mudryk isn't real, the Gibbs-White money should still be available after buying Maupay (I would guess because we were always going to need to buy someone like Maupay). Is that being reserved for a similar player like Kudus, or could it be used for someone like Gakpo? Potentially lots of moving parts with very, very little time.

Agreed that since we bid £8m for Dendoncker, we definitely ought to be pushing that up slightly to get Garner in. I know some assumed this was a Gana alternative, but since Gana is coming with no transfer fee, the money is still there.
