What on earth is “a top grade second striker”? Maupay is a mid-table PL striker who will serve perfectly well as backup/support.

If we had the chance to bring in someone who could likely challenge Dom for top spot I’m all for it, but spending time and cash on Just Another Body to appease a bunch of insufferable cryarse fans on deadline day isn’t it, for me.

Do you not think we need another forward?

I like maupay but would want him on the pitch with DCL not an alternative.
Did you see the bench on Tuesday, there is no depth.
When I say top grade second striker… I actually mean any grade striker better than rondon. Who offers any threat, or unpredictability, and maybe a goal. Che Adam’s would have ticketed that box for me, Diaz would tick that box for me.

Has the bedwetting and meltdowns started yet or am i to early to whitness that yet?
Nobody's been infracted yet, if that's what you mean. "Bedwetting" probably depends on how you define that.

Been fairly calm so far, with the two quality incomings we're near-certain of at reasonable prices.

Need two genuine attacking options still, with only Maupay out last week who'd be involved this then even adding Gana and Garner still would have seen us without any real attacking options v Leeds
