As I said this morning, stunk of gana and garner only. Pure blag bids for all kinds of random [Poor language removed], then we can be spoon fed the “we never stopped trying” spiel.
Time-honoured, tried and tested. Proven in the furnace of the Kenwrightian "good times" era. Works like a charm.

It’s pure fact the points I made Mike!

We couldn’t of tried any harder to get relegated and still we survived. We are better in every single position in the squad right now!

Manager
Defence
Midfield
Attack

I don’t see how we are better in attack.

Yes mate, I also know the season doesn’t last for 5 games.

You see the table this time last season? We was in the top 4 look how that turned out?
I’m also aware of that. If you were saying ‘I think we’ll be fine’ then I wouldn’t be replying, but if you’re saying you can’t see why people think we’ll even be close to it then it does seem pertinent to say that we barely stayed up last year, haven’t won yet, or scored more than once, or kept a clean sheet, have been picking up a point a game on average since this manager took over, and have an owner with a hair trigger. Anyone who can’t see why people are worried must have glaucoma.

It's clear as day now that the excuse delivered by the club's media helpers is this: "The club tried hard to get a deal for Diaz over the line, but Blackburn wouldn't entertain the terms they wanted the player for".

Ah well. They did try.

9 weeks since Richarlsion left and we're left with a BS excuse like that.

Maupay and Rondon. The PL must be bricking it.
