If Richarlison leaves:

Pickford / Begovic
Mykolenko / Nkounkou
Godfrey / Holgate
Tarkowski / Branthwaite
Patterson / Coleman
??? / Davies
Doucoure / Iwobi
Dele / ???
Gordon / Gray
DCL / ???
??? / ???

What we would need would be:

DM
CM/AM
AM/WF
WF
CF

Cameron Archer already has 1/3 in the championship last season. Hes also scoring a goal a game for England u21s.

Lampard with u21 British players makes a lot of sense.
??? / Davies
Doucoure / Iwobi
Dele / ???
Gordon / Gray

So Very average...

More than the ins I'm REALLY interested in what we get for any "outs" this summer. Everyone knows we need an overhaul, it will be interesting to see how Thelwell gets in fees for DCL or Richarlison. We've been absolutely awful in actually selling players for about 6 years.

What is the situation with Kean exactly? Do Juve have an obligation to buy him for that amount? I intermittently forget he ever existed, and have read Juve are trying to find a buyer, West Ham mentioned, so assume they are trying to wriggle out of any deal themselves.

£28m that we know is coming, even in installments, is no small change for us and gives us more flexibility surely.
Kean re-joined Juve on an initial two-year loan deal worth €7m, but the Italian giants have the obligation to buy him outright for €28m in June 2023 with that fee set to be paid in installments. They are trying to sell him sooner which should mean us getting paid earlier.

The agreed fee is 28m euros -that should be payable next season. They're paying a loan fee for each season they have him and covering his wages. If we sell him next summer, it's a better deal for us as his book cost will be lower. I could imagine we'd agree to sell him this summer for the same fee to help with our P&S issues. Think Juve will be hoping those same issues will force us to let them pay less, but reports suggest we are holding firm, which is good.

Brands was criticised for that Kean deal, but in hindsight it was actually a very good deal for us.

We should absolutely stand firm. Sets a precedent for dealing with us.
If it was me, I would also be saying, you want him this year. We want the transfer fee and the loan fee.
Whatever happens they buy him next year anyway.
They want him, as a makeweight, or just sold off and gone. The power is with us, on this one.
