Part of me wonders are they going to play Onana in a more advanced role, like Fellaini? He’s shown glimpses although would rather a quality creative player.

I'm not sure what some people are expecting really.

When you consider time and money constraints. If Kudus or Pereira become available then I'd sign either of them in preference to Garner as they both offer something different.

But I like Garner too, good from set-pieces and good positional sense. Seems like a tall, gangly lad too which can come in handy.

It does, but doesn't. That says club's now have agreement (which they didn't before) but the player/club side is now optimistic (when it was always fine).

definitely need another creative midfielder besides a striker. Garner i dont know, but i think we are well stocked with central midfielders (although depending on Allan staying or not and if Warrington is deemed good enough to play some part in the PL

I think FL said he sees him as an 8 for the next couple of seasons.
