Between Maupay and McNei, we've added 2 forwards who scored a grand total of 9 goals last season. Nine.

What happens if Gordon gets injured? What happens if Dominic Calvert-Lewin suffers a recurrence of his injury? Where are the goals coming from? Worrying.

Simple...relegation...this season is going to be much harder than last season, yet offensively we are so lightweight is ridiculous as illustrated by lampard last game where no substitutions were made.

Until we stop leaving crucial business until deadline day then we are going to be an amateurish club

I could understand it in the case of Broja, if DCL had stayed fit and he was the priority target for a versatile forward who would primarily be rotation (like Maupay is).

Who knows, maybe we still get Broja, but it doesn't solve Everton's main issue IMO, which is creating quality chances on a consistent basis.

A lot of emphasis is going to be on Iwobi to do that now.

Indeed. We've bet the house on him scoring goals and DCL staying fit. Recent history says neither of those are a given by any stretch.
