Got the link to this?…in his interview, Benitez did say he’s been talking to Brands for a number of weeks & agreed a few targets. I imagine there’s plenty going on behind the scenes.

Got the link to this?
Got the link to this?
….just recalling one of his interviews, I think it was posted by the club. I’ll have a little look, but he said something along the lines of he’d been chatting for a few weeks and agreed a number of targets.
(Edit) Might be this one;

Nope..So, any actual rumours / links out there; for ins or outs?
No great loss that.
Leao really isnt that good.That will be the problem this window.
Why will a good player want to come and play for a mid-table team, coached by a manager who couldn't hack it in China, and who manages a squad with mostly average to poor players?
Mate, Perez, a forward, scored 3 goals last season. Yes, that's better than Iwobi, but we really don't need any more forwards that contribute essentially no goals.zmy reply was because the original poster said Perez cant score goals whil we had to suffer with Iwobi and Bernard. I wouldnt mind Perez depending on the deal and the rest of the squad
Did you know that players aren’t contractually obliged to score the same number of goals next season as they did last?Mate, Perez, a forward, scored 3 goals last season. Yes, that's better than Iwobi, but we really don't need any more forwards that contribute essentially no goals.
MAYBE he does, but there is nothing in Perez's history to support that view. He's crap.Did you know that players aren’t contractually obliged to score the same number of goals next season as they did last?
MAYBE (if the rumours are true) Rafael fancies that Pérez might score more in the system and role he intends to play him in?!
I disagree, like, but that’s the point of a forum. The issue is that if you want a proven goal scorer at a comparable level you’d have to pay through the nose and hope that they bring their goal scoring with them. If you don’t want to or can’t pay that much we either have to buy a goalscorer at a level we hope they can step up from (a lower league or relatively obscure top flight) or a player with good attributes that might be able to turn that play into more goals with the right system/training.MAYBE he does, but there is nothing in Perez's history to support that view. He's 27, not some prospect. In his entire career he's scored more than 10 goals in a season twice, once in the Spanish second division when he was a kid and 12 goals for Newcastle in 18/19. There is nothing there to support the idea that he will ever be a top level goalscorer.I disagree, like, but that’s the point of a forum. If the rumour is even true, I guess Pérez is seen as the latter. Even if he makes more goals for DCL and Richarlison it’d still be a good buy.
