Everton Summer transfers 2021

Obviously the positions of need for immediate first team action are right wing and right back. That said I see the likes of how Leicester are doing business in planning the succession of Vardy with Daka, or Wolves a year ago with the very raw Fabio Silva with Jimenez likely leaving in a year or two pre injury we would be wise to follow suit.

Richarlison especially but even Dom are likely not long for the club. Yet their presence can afford a cheaper rawer prospect who might be ready in two years time. I am no scout but for Dom cover the likes of someone like Arthur Cabral closing a cheap move to Nice seems like the kind of business that would be wise. Or pursiung the high end prospects who are still a year or two away like a Zirkzee again, or JJ Macias considering the amount of games Dom realistically plays. All three of those a fairly comparable like for liike replacements.

Its just to say the succession of positions needs to be better accounted for, oppose to always quickly patching hole or weak spot each transfer. This team would be wise doing more at or under the teens for higher end prospects whose expectations for being starters are two years away.

Still being linked with Zaha and Zirkzee, I'm not against signing either, for the right price, but a bit surprised that we are not being linked with every Spanish player now we have a Spanish manager. Also surprised we hadn't been linked to all the players Barca are releasing on free, I suppose we will be at some point.

Could be worse, we could be Spurs and getting duped by Seferovic's Euros performances. I will be like a cat that's got the cream if they sign him.

We signed or sold anyone yet?

…taking a guess, I think the links with Rafael Leao were accurate.

Physically powerful & rapid attacker from wide position is our requirement & he fits that spec. Also, Benitez says he’s agreed some targets. Reports suggest he’s turned us down, so we may be looking at the next on Brand’s list but expect the same type.

Gakpo from PSV perhaps?

Starting Monday, Benitez and the non international players due back.

I think we had transfer plan in place under Carlo and I still think we have key positions to find and fill such as Right Back and Right Winger plus I am sure we will be linked to other positions also.

Our problem will be our transition of management as Carlo will have different ideas to Benitez so this will slow plans down as well as current competitions in Euros and South America added to Covid.

Benitez will know our squad and if rumours are true, he impressed with his interview and knowledge of our squad.

I think we have to be realistic and understand that we can't just tear up contracts and sell on our lesser popular players but let's focus on our youthful assess and where these players fit in:
Simms
Small
Gordon
Branthwaite
Nkounkou
Onyango
