I think the opposite.
He has the potential to be really good but seems to totally lose concentration, he is dealing with a different type of manager now who will not tolerate sloppiness. I think it may be the making of him.
Holgate seems to have been one of the few players that got worse the longer CA stayed around.

Had a very good second half of the season when Ancelotti came in and it looked like he’d be one of first picked centre backs for the start of last season, preseason he was sloppy and then got injured and he never got his form back.
As you say hopefully it’s the making of him, there’s definitely a player there and he’s still young for a cb, just hope we don’t rush into getting rid of him too soon.

Tbf I’d quite happily do without the abundance of nonsense rumours that come with transfer windows. As has been the case for the last few, we won’t hear anything until right before the transfers are done and that’s absolutely fine with me.
