Everton Summer transfers 2021

I want to see some South American signings that Brands made at PSV. They are meant to be easy to sign now due to Brexit so we should be looking there
They have tried with Santi Sosa and Reinier Jesus... definitely have that part of the world on the radar but they need to make every penny count at the moment I think so we arent likely to be seeing any Brighton-esque punts at 10M players from there.

A lot of news outlets regurgitating a story from the Telegraph stating that we are prepared to sell 6 players this summer; Gomes, Delph, Bernard, Tosun, Rodriguez and Mina. I'm not sure on the Telegraph and their source for this. I would say that selling Gomes, Delph, Bernard and Tosun would come as a surprise to no one. Gomes has not been in the first 11 really since his bad injury a few seasons ago, really he has been a bench player, except for when we have had injuries. Delph has hardly played since he arrived and been "injured" for most of the time. Bernard nearly left in January, Tosun has spent as much time injured and on loan as he has at the club and available.

With Mina, he was linked with a move away last season, after the January window closed there was a story that he wanted to go back to Spain or go to Italy in the summer. The question will be does anyone want him for what we would accept as a transfer, what would we want? £25m? we would probably need to spend £35m on Koulibaly to replace him, or £50m on Ben White, or £35m on Lenglet.

With James he has been linked with AC Milan and possibly some sort of swap deal with Leao, but that seems dead now as it was reported that Leao wants to stay in Milan and Milan seem to be in for Vlasic. If you look at James goals and goal contributions he will be hard to replace in the side.

I think most of us were hoping for some sort of summer clear out and I for one would be fine with Gomes, Delph, Bernard and Tosun going (though I think becasue of Tosuns injury it will be a loan at the end of the window). I think for the other two we would need decent offers for both of them and very good replacements.

why is moise kean not on that list

hmmmm

He offers much more than that. Stats don't tell the story.

Constant threat, teams have doubled and tripled up on him at Newcastle because they can afford to.

A player like him frees up everyone else on the pitch to do more simply because he can't be ignored.

We also have to be realistic in that we are unlikely to be able to attract a 10-15 a season goalscorer who plays out wide / through the middle without European football to offer.

Pereira from WBA would be a cheaper option but would love someone like Saint Maximim who can get you excited when on the ball.

Cant remember the last player we've had like that - Del boy to an extent but he wasn't as skillful on the ball.

So were a few weeks away from start of the season
Have exactly the same squad as last year
No signings imminent nor any rumoured signings with any real substance to them
And a manager we don't want cant wait till August!!!

22 goals in 203 career games...

7 in 56 for Newcastle.

Nope.
The quality around ASM in Newcastle was different, all the goals has been his own work, and there was no one to complement him. He was also injured most of the time. But here with better players around will be different. But again 60mn is too much may be around 40mn or so would be fair.

If we can hold on to DCL, Richarlison & Kean for atleast one season would be ideal. Replacements might work may not work or could cost a lot more.

Im not that fussed about goals providing the forwards are doing the business I just want some entertainment mate.

Someone to get me off my seat.

Someone with pace who wants to take on their man.

Antony at Ajax.

Same could be said of Joelinton...
