He didn't recover from the injury last season around Xmas? - same happened at Chelsea and Everton

Villa are a classic old school club. All the best for next season. I agree you seem to have bought three very good players. Also credit to how both club and player managed the sale to Man City unlike the second hand car salesman at Tottenham.

Levy is embarrassing. If any English player in the country deserves a chance to win some silverware it is Harry Kane. He has been the perfect professional and has given his all to Spurs but they failed to deliver, he has also led his country admirably. He should be given the opportunity he deserves and Levy should have sorted this out with Kane and City behind closed doors. But, hey, what else would u expect from him, that's the level he operates at.

Yes in fairness the injury didn't help and I am probably being over critical. I loved him for a while but he just didn't seem to try for the 2nd half of the season but bags and bags of talent

Completely agree. Whilst Kane should have implemented a similar release clause to Jack (assuming he hasn't) there's history with Levy. Modric, Bale, Carrick etc all left on a really bad terms from to the clubs they joined. Plus the reasons you gave. Unlike Wazza who some so called Everton fans still actually like him. Jack gave you 5 full seasons, Kane has given Spurs 7 full seasons even Rice has given West Ham 3-4 seasons plus likely one more. Rooney gave us a season. Spawny ****

Levy can't even be defended as ironically he missed out on Grealish because he wouldn't pay a little bit more. Hilarious. Didn't they also miss out on Bruno Fernandez because of something silly like not wanting to pay agent fees or at least that was the rumour.
 
Tenuous links that Everton are lining up Conor Wickham as a bargain back up for England star Dominic Calvert-Lewin. Wickham, recently released by premier league rivals Crystal Palace, would join the Merseysiders on a 12 month deal, with the option for a further year, as Everton continue to struggle with cash flow problems this summer.

there's history with Levy.

When Villa were in dire straits a few years ago before we got new owners we were within 24 hours of going into administration. We were screwed but for the takeover, Levy offered 3.5m + Josh Onomah for Grealish. No honour whatsoever, He saw we were up the creek and he tried to exploit our situation. We are all rivals but clubs should show respect to each other at that level and should not try and twist the knife that little bit more. He is scum

At the end of the day Kane signed a six year contact and has now effectively gone on strike. Super professional!!
