You are.

this time last season everybody was buzzing about signing Allan, Doucoure and Rodriguez, they are all still here.

we have added two natural wingers to the squad, but just because they aren’t Leon Bailey and didn’t cost 30m each everybody is showing signs of manic depression.

Will be more organised and the players will need to perform.
I’m with you here. If we can somehow add a right back, then we have improved our most of our problem areas. The squad will be far less threadbare. That will show in points.

Getting the players fitter and moving moving more will also b3 a considerable improvement.

Them 2 wingers are rubbish though. Plus we have another year of Coleman at right back who was finished 3 years ago. Midfield has zero creativity. And we now have a inferior manager. I would take mid table now

With the players we have released/sold we have saved c£400k per week (Estimated) which in real cash terms means that this season we will have saved £20.8m on the previous season.

Clearly the club is on a cost cutting or wage cutting drive whilst getting some money from sales.....

Personally I`d like to see Mina (120), Iceland (100k), Delph (80k), Tosun (60k), Iwobi (50k) all moved on, get whatever you can as a transfer fee for them but the saving on their wages for next season would be c£410k per week and another £21.3m saving next season from the season just gone.

The only trouble is no one wants our players so we just run these contracts down....

I was reading the other day about rule changes coming in that will make it more difficult (gaining a 'governing body endorsement' - GBE) to sign players from the EU and easier to sign players from South America's top leagues.

Benitez is no stranger to South American signings, so we might expect to see this route explored more often?
