Based on these figures and what's been reported as forecast, it's worrying that a Big Club could fall as economic fallout from Covid hits and even more so that we fit the bill perfectly. Sad sad times on and off field( purely from a football perspective course!)

From an FFP perspective, the rules have been changed for this year. Rather than measuring FFP based on the last 3 seasons accounts, they are using the average of last season and this season for the calculation of the 3rd year. So if Everton lost 100m last year and if they can break even this season then that will be 'only' a 50m loss. And obviously, max loss permissible over the 3 years is 105m

I really can't see any meaningful punishment for any club for FFP breaches for the next couple of years to take Covid into account. Or maybe they change the max loss of 105m to 150m+.

By not being skint, do you mean Everton Football Club is not skint or that the owner of the club is not skint?

City and United get past FFP as they have much bigger revenues than the rest of us. Man Utd rev is circa 700m a year, Man City is circa 450m and Everton circa 180m. Also, they do sell players too and get some money in that way. City got the sponsorship of their stadium done before the rules clamped down on that so that helps them too.

i mean we’re not skint
