Seeing links for DCL to Spurs when Spurs sell Kane. Spurs are after £130m for Kane, makes me laugh when I see spurs fans thinking they can get DCL for £30m. I think if we do sell DCL it should be for a very big fee. At least £60m, we would need that to go and get a replacement, possibly Tammy Abrahams at Chelsea for £35m, plus another player. Spurs is somewhat of a sideways move for him, personally I would rather keep DCL, but if he wanted to go I just hope we get a good price for him.

I’m with you mate, fully expecting us to sign better players and not bring in longstaff and rondon. That list wasn’t meant to be a starting team but what it could be after subs and injuries.

I just wish they’d have closed the window before the season starts, partly because we’d not be suffering for another 3 weeks.

Dcl is a full england international...if kane goes for 130 millions, I would expect at least 85 millions for dcl...

Should we sell DCL I can see it going a few ways:

1) Marcel: Right, sold DCL for 80m, get Leverkusen and Brentford on the line to see who we can get cheaper between Schick and Toney (not advocating for these, but in this scenario we have actual targets)

2) Marcel: Hmmm, I guess since we sold DCL we need a new striker. Fire up FIFA and see who is well rated, but sort of young and cheapish

3) Marcel: You, the rotund Spanish waiter looking fellow, get Rondon's agent on the line

4) Marcel: "Yes, I'm on the 9th tee box". Contract Dave: "No we SOLD our #9, not are you on #9". Marcel: "#9 you say, who was that again and does he need replacing?"

Needless to say, we best not be selling DCL

Does anyone know anything about this lad Buta? All I can find is that he's 24, he made his professional debut playing for Benfica's B team in the 2016/17 season and made 29 appearances for them. In the 2017/18 season he joined Royal Antwerp on loan, at the end of that loan deal he signed for Antwerp on a permanent 3 year contract, since going Antwerp he's made 15 appearances for them up to know. I got that from Wiki and surely it can't be right?
