So a friend of mine knows the Longstaff family well. Apparently the father is not happy with Bruce and is concerned about progression for his two sons. Matty looks set to leave on loan to the championship, and there has been contact from Rafael regarding Sean. Newcastle apparently looking to sign Willock and some other midfielder from France before they let him go. Bruce wants Liam Gibson as part of the deal, but doesn’t look like any players will be involved.

They want a player i like, Kamara from Marseille.

Hes 10 times the player Longstaff would ever be.

You might be right, but given that Rom just went for £97.5 and is the finished article, I think we would be doing very well to get £85m for Dom, but if he scores over 20 goals this coming season then he will certainly be in the over £80m category.

Dcl carries the "english" premium that lukaku doesn't have and he is quite a bit younger...of course today lukaku is the better striker but who knows in a couple of years time the level that dcl can reach. He had a decent return of goals last season especially for somebody that do not take penalties and playing in a team at time hopeless going forward. I am convinced that if dcl was playing for example for city, he would score many goals...
