Why on earth are some talking about being in relegation trouble ?.
Granted the squad isn't good enough , but that team is pretty damn good.
Let's be honest , Carlo massively underachieved. There is absolutely nothing to worry about

People are just having a preseason meltdown because we lost to Manu. The squad is no weaker than it was last season, in fact it's arguably stronger. We certainly haven't improved enough to challenge for the top four but we won't be anywhere near the relegation zone.

I keep reading that people want Brands to have a scouting network and they want him to pick up unknowns for small money and develop them into premiership player.

We are linked with a young cheap right back that I would guess nobody has even heard of and Brands gets slaughtered for making a panic buy.

Any young unproven player is a risk.... that is why they are cheap.

Brands tries to sign an established player and he gets slaughtered for not having a scouting network and not picking up young cheap talent with potential.

Is it any wonder Moshiri doesn't listen to the fans.

It is a very good team. it 'ONLY' needed:
- teamwork
- leadership
- tactics
- plan b
- fitness
- motivation

on paper it's still very good, and if you think of Coleman, Nkounkou, Davies, Townsend, Gray as the rest of the squad, it's ok - just needs a better midfield, better striker and one more CB for quality options

It not a meltdown. But I dont think any everton fan should be content with midtable. Ever. I'm not saying you or anyone else is but we have not improved much since last season squad wise. The idea that gray or Townsend are going to improve us. Well I'll stop there on that. Added to that the top 6 have strengthened again to stretch further away in to the far off future leaves many evertonians very dissapointed.
