Everton Summer transfers 2021

At this rate we will have the tallest team in the league, I`m liking that. Good technically and ability wise. Big, strong, hard working and quick physically.

You know something like 80% of the Arsenal invincibles were like 6`2 or above, or something like that..
Personally for the money they want their are better players and better fits for how we currently want to set up

He’s not a striker

Doesn't he play pretty much in the same position as Richarlison?

i.e. his best role is like a forward from the left?

I know Lazio played that weird 3-1-4-2 under Inzaghi. Wasn't he one of the attacking two?

I remember him at Sevilla though and he was more of a left inside forward.

So let’s say we get this Hoppe lad in and Anguissa on loan is it? Would James, who’s seemingly unfortunately out of the door, be enough to cover it? After that I can’t see someone coming in permanently for Kean this summer aside from Inter but they’ve made it clear they don’t want to spend. Think effectively replacing James with Hoppe, Anguissa and Kean (who we didn’t have) probably doesn’t replace his influence and ability to change a game but would improve the overall depth of the squad. That being said obviously leaves us without any recognised 10 in the squad.

For those that know the financials how exactly would we go about a right back, are we still looking to offload wages and fees don’t really matter all that much? If we got rid of someone like Gomes for a decent fee and got a good right back in to start then I’d say it was probably a successful but not hugely inspiring window.

Gray and Townsend look good business, Hoppe would be the same for his fee and if we got a right back and a few loans in I think we’d be fairly decent and have a well rounded squad although there’s still the issue of lack of real creativity and some deadwood looking unsellable like Delph and Tosun that’ll probably just bleed out their contracts for us. Disappointing but it is what it is I suppose, hope there’s some surprises come the end of the window but I can’t see anything major really. That 11 Saturday will probably be the regular 11 for the season aside from 1 or 2 I think.
I don’t see that 11 being the regular at all. New RB. Godfrey, Mina. And I’d say a new wide player that will put one of gray and Townsend on the bench. And who knows if James goes and no siggurdsson, will Rafael want a new number 10?

Beep beep bob bob boo do do do

(Calf strain + hard working side x no tracking back) ÷ iron fisted manager = 10 games max.

Beep
Be weird that the iron fisted manager in question has looked to sign him twice then, wouldn't it?

Simeone has a big say in transfers at Atleti. Not always the final say but he's not ignored.

Gbamin? Pretty sure he's going to be wanted mate. Would be a worrying decision from Benitez in that case.
I hope he would. He seems like the sort of player we need as long as he stays fit. Certainly seems like James and Gomes on the outs going by media reports.

I'm sure he will announce it 14 seconds after the news has been made public and proclaim it as a glorious victory for Bulbous Benny in his war against football as usual.
i wonder if he is wetting himself getting the Coutinho links out again, like earlier in the window when he said we were in advanced talks with him, then backtracking saying only if James leaves :)
