Rooney was completely past it and still managed as many appearances and more goals than Richarlison last season - a lot of fan emotion tied up in calling his return a failure - I can understand it - but pragmatically I thought he was ok.
Tosun, Klaasen, Ramirez were failures - have probably cost us more in total and contributed almost nothing.
Theres only so many golf courses in liverpool and they get boring after the 50th game. Think Marcel may scout a few players to pass the time till his next holiday. We just starting ours now

If he plays in behind a front 2 as a CF/CAM, I can see it more. Just don’t want to shoehorn in players to positions that aren’t their bestWe've currently got Iwobi, Gordon, Gray and Townsend as wide options if Richarlison plays centrally and people are turning their nose up at Correa!?
He's exactly what we need, an attacking player who *actually* scores goals as well as creating them. Talented player and at just 27 is coming into his prime years.

Seems so given the volume of supposed decent sources but you never really believe it until that ‘here we go’ lad pipes up.is the correa links credible?
Allegedly we have and it was rejectedI see people are talking as if Correa has signed?
Have we bid?
Yeah I saw, he seems comfortable with LW. That being said, we do have Gray, Townsend to cover also. I’m excited by the thought of Correa don’t get me wrong, just a bit concerned that our glaring issues are the RW, RB and a midfielder. This chap for as good as he is isn’t any one of these and I don’t see us going big on anyone else in those positions unless we sell. Correa, McNeil, both left wingers I hope don’t get shoehorned into the right is allEqually as adept at playing LW as he his behind the striker - which is what makes him a great signing. Can have proper rotation with him and Richarlison and the best part is they both score goals which no other attacking player we've been linked to does.
