Realistically we will do well to shift another three or four (Gomes, Kenny, Delph, Kean - would love to see Keane and Tosun go too but can't see either of them appealing to any club on the planet) but we already need to bring in three as it is (RB, CM, RW). If we somehow start selling for real money we will, at a certain point, need to start replacing outgoing players!

10:Davies/Gbamin
11:Gordon

If we moved on all of those 11 players we would need:

Centre back
Centre midfield
Wide player
Right back

So, 4 players that we already needed anyway.

Honestly, what would be the point of that? May as well keep James if Coutinho is the replacement. Same age, same injury problems, same big wages. Pointless.
 
James will still go I think, though you'd like to see some interest firming up in him.

I think Kean will go on loan to Italy likely, but always Turkey. That won't be ideal if it happens, we'd probably have to loan in a replacement.

I just don't think it will happen for him here, and not convinced he wants it to either.

Anything less than two signings (RB and CM) is not good enough. Three (RM) would be a good days work. Four (F if Kean leaves) is asking for too much.

I have a hunch we'll sign a right back and nothing else.

Yes. But it is hard enough to get anyone to take Kean (as we are finding out). Getting someone to take Keane will be impossible. He will be here until the end of that long and lucrative contract we gave him.

We need money to get some decent players in. I've no doubt that Kean has talent, but he clearly isn't going to contribute anything to us.
 
Old Fab's blasting through the good Everton news this morning. Loan with an obligation to buy - so we may have genuinely been in for him.

might be common refrains along with others that the filter will deal with.

And every player we would be interested in would magically have their asking price increased.
We need Richarlison's replacement in before we sell Richarlison.
