According to Football Insider, Everton have set their sights on the Napoli defender and are ready to make an offer for him.

But the Toffees will face plenty of competition for the powerful centre-back if they are to sign him.

Manchester United are keen on Koulibaly and it appears Napoli are prepared to lower their asking price.

The Italians rejected a £95m offer from the Red Devils in 2018 but reportedly could consider a bid of around £39m this summer.

The pandemic has crippled the financial position of clubs across Europe and Napoli are set to accept a significantly lower offer for Koulibaly.

For reference here is 2017. They don't exactly go 0-for. But some of these I've still never heard of.

I counted 9 I had heard of.

Which isn't a great return, but you know how hard it is with
With you on that brother , it's probably the same 9.
I wonder hhow many Zat got?

14...

Bailly wants out of United.

Just in case somebody, @Zatara, suggests we move for him.

Their best CB. But always injured.

Tapsoba or Bastoni are the ones.

Koulibaly and Romagnoli are discounted.

Got a big box of tissues ready @Zatara

Federico Redondo: Defensive midfielder. Interest from English clubs. Ancelotti is his Dads old manager...

Bruno Goncalves: Highly rated + I like the name Metinho as well :)

Samuel Eling-Junior (Juve) and Xavi Simons (PSG) could be taken if we sell Kean to either.

Rayan Cherk and Moriba: The most 'famous' name on the list

Some journalist reckons carlo's main priority is signing a centre half and that Godfrey is the only centre half that he likes. He wants to make a marquee signing a bit like when Liverpool signed Van Dijk.

Koulibaly will be 30 in the summer, can't see us spending alot of money on a 30 year old defender

Umtiti is 27 so that could be a possibility but Koeman probably wouldn't sell to us

Stones is a possibility but City would probably still demand alot of money for their 4th choice centre half

be interesting to see who we end up with

i am guessing he will offload Mina and Holgate and keep Keane as backup
I’d love Stones and he’s come on leaps and bounds this season, completely different player but I reckon he’s their second choice now, just rotates him and Laporte to avoid injury so can’t see him going anywhere

It seems to be Dias plus one other for CBs at City (Stones Laporte )
Otamendi is a way down at fourth and it would not surprise me if he is replaced
CF and a back up RB are all City really need to continue winning
Foden seems like the natural successor to KDB

They also have Ake....I had forgot they even signed him. Is he injured ??

Otamendi left last year mate, it’s Dias and stoned as the main partnership with Laporte ake as back ups, right back is fine they have cancelo who’s quality and walker as the back up, it’s left back they need to strengthen
