Some journalists are running with the narrative that James' inclusion in the deal reduces the financial outlay from €35m to €25m, so if we cover half of his wages in this time then I'd say it's a pretty good deal all things considered

Struggling to see why Porto would ditch this Diaz (especially if he is decent) and replace him with someone that only turns up to games when he can be arsed.

Maybe they need money. Or they said he can leave this summer, who knows.
but we have saved wages already this summer, and this lad could cost us 4mil over a 5 year deal. Probably gets 80k even if we pay half of James’s say 70k.

We can get some wages back from kean. And I reckon a few more players will be gone by Tuesday.
