I have a simple rule with Everton transfer windows.
If the rumour is for a player I like and at a sensible price, the rumour is false or the deal will not happen.
If the rumour is for a poor player who I do not like, or for an average player at a highly inflated price, then the rumour will almost certainly be true.
There have been very few exceptions. Maybe James recently.
