I disagree mate, I think there was some hope we could uncover a player with the Valencia move and he could stay on to be a decent player. Of course that never happened.

Whereas I feel Rondon is a super safe bet, everyone knows what we’re getting with him and he’s worked for the manager before. He’ll never become the future of this club or a starter each week. He’d be a safe and cheap option as a backup striker, with a limited ability to spend, bigger issues elsewhere and the transition to a new manager I think he’d be a really good option for us right now, I’d like to see him on a two year deal and a basic wage and no transfer fee. If that’s achievable I hope we bring him in!

For me I would much prefer the lad from Celtic we need a different kind of forward to Dom. Rondon is a waste of time.

Dortmund won't sell Haaland for 200 million this window. Not this late in the game.
