Had one good season. Been pony for the last few and overshadowed by their other Brazilian winger.

Neres was out for like 9 months in the 2019-2020 season which didnt help.

Yeah this is exactly right. We are once again at the point of looking for the next version of that type of player.

Its all Portuguese papers though the same ones which were so adamant that we acquired Nunes. Romano or the journalists that liaison with Everton haven't verified those reports. So I'm just going to wait for something more concrete to materialize before I get crestfallen

I haven’t read them. So will take your word for it. But I suppose when you see Joyce tweeting about it. And he doesn’t tweet much. Fabrizio as well. It gives me hope. Maybe we’ve agreed all things with the player and just trying to get a deal sorted with the club. Apparently they need to sell somebody.

All so the Portuguese press have said the Nunes deal was done on a few occasions this summer. Were we in for Correa or Chuna who knows but a bit frustrating a 3rd player of similar profile not happening.

Need that extra bit a quality at the top end of the pitch, while our attackers have stared well. I still think we need better
