If we could put everything behind us with Rooney and are working through many fans opinions on Rafael quiet we’ll skip far surely we can welcome back Barkley on loan.

I understand why it wouldn’t be a very popular signing but I’d have no issues with Barkley coming to the club on loan for the season.

I’m happy to assumed we’ll never see Siggy again, if James goes we’ll be quite light on at CAM. I know it hasn’t been an issue yet and we have far more pressing needs but depth and versatility within the squad is important a loan move for him could provide us with that.

I'm in the camp that believe Seamus doesn't need replacing outright, he just needs to be used more sparingly. Rotating him with a promising young right back like this lad could be the ideal scenario, ensuring that we keep Seamus fresh for the more difficult games.

Yes Fred think ideally we need someone who can come straight in and play 50% of our games. Patterson has the age on his side but dont think he has the ability. Obviously hope im wrong if we do sign him. Ralston has far more about him up there maturity, pace, crossing and goals but dont think hes good enough either just yet, surprised Rodgers didnt take him to Leicester he had him playing great when he was only 17/18.
