Let’s hope that players like Allan/doucoure/digne/Coleman can stay fit for the majority of the season…

Can see Gordon potentially getting some more minutes as well this year…

Hope Benitez can keep improving some players and we have a Moyes 04 esque season. Going to be a struggle though to get top 8 with teams like Leicester, Villa, spurs improving their squads.

They were putting deals in place for when a sale was made. At the time of the bid, the money was not there. The deals couldn’t have been finalised until Kean was sold. That only happened yesterday.

What about the Diaz bid . Made up as well.

Ok a dedicated RB was top priority ( not getting one is a disappointment) Rondon has come in as Striker back up. Gray and Towns end have looked good all cost very little and improved us. Allen and Doucoure look great as a pair, Gray has started off great. We have 4 ok CBs, also Gomes, Iwobi Davies as midfield back up, James is still here. Granted some of those players were awful last season but they have been good in there careers, managed right they could well become decent again. So where did you want improved anotehr winger would have been nice but if a decent one wasn’t available, what do you do?

We have no left back cover now either.
A right back was a must .
There are dozens of wingers we could have looked at .you sayin there were no decent ones at all out there we may have got. Even on loan?

Godfrey and/or Branthwaite as back-up to Digne with Delph also able to play left back at a push... and easier to loan Nkounkou out than Delph.
