They'd be inviting going right back down if the replacement signings fail. With the chairman on record about Aarons, I can't see them also selling Buendia.

Buendia is just another Dwight Gayle / Cameron Jermome - looks like Messi in the Fizzy Pop League but didn't seem to offer much when in the PL.

Him and Aarons aint taking us forward.

If I remember rightly, didn’t Buendia post pretty good chance creation numbers in the PL? After Pukki’s purple patch, I think their players just became bum at putting the chances away.

I’d take both, NEA.

Oh, and a massive YES on Belotti while Brands has got the chequebook out.

FB92's shortlist would include:

CF: Ings / Belotti
RW: Bailey / Wilf
CM: Ward Prowse
RB: Celik / Tete

Ward Prowse would waltz into our midfield.

Celik and Tete could be got at for £15-20 million rather than spunking £30-35 million on Aarons.

Ings is also a better finisher than DCL and certainly King / Toshun

Wilf has more goals in the PL than Richarlison this season never mind Iwobi in the last God knows how many seasons.

Every single player would improve our starting 11 FACT

the man who wanted callum Wilson, King and Fraser stating “they would improve our team” is again at it

not once had you heard about Celik or Tete until their names appeared somewhere and you certainly haven’t seen them play to state whether they would or wouldn’t improve us

Richarlison has out scored Zaha the previous 2 seasons. I wouldn’t pay want palace would want for him.

I don’t see it with Wilf, never have. I honestly think Ward-Prowse would be the same as Gylfi - We’d get drawn in by his set-piece delivery only to find him plodding about, offering nothing in open play.

Frankly, Ings will have better options and also has an injury record that you KNOW would flare up at Everton.

Wouldn't know Celik if I fell over him tbh, but I defo don’t think Tete would improve us. Anguissa is probably the only Fulham player I’d want us to have a look at.
 

For me we need badly someone who is happy to go and get the ball off defence, be comfortable in possession and link up the midfield to the defence or other midfield partners.

Id go for Ander Herrera first choice, Winks second or Ward Prowse third.

We badly need this position rectifying to get the best out of Doucoure, Allan et Al.

Seems bizarre to me that we have a Dutch DOF who hasnt signed a single Dutch player or prospect from Holland.

Neither would I however this notion that Wilf is dirge is hilarious he would waltz into our side - Eze is the new flavour of the month but here's the thing how many goals and assists does he have compared to Wilf?

Too many on here get attracted to style over substance - we have too many of those types who can look good on the ball but rack up little goals/assists.
