I think he’s to much like DCL. And he wouldn’t come to sit on the bench, he may as well stay at Chelsea.

I hope we get a CF that offers something different, maybe one that can drop off and then run at defenders
He isn’t even on the bench at Chelsea sometime, which has caused problems.

Tammy Abraham to replace Kean, heard it hear first! Brands at his best!!

I do hear Chelsea want Lukaku back, so I could see Tammy wanting out, if that's the case. I'm not sure he would come to us though, the way Chelsea are they will probably loan him to a promoted club instead

Would like us to take the best of what the championship has to offer.

Aarons and Buendía from Norwich, though I appreciate they’re coming up so they’ll never sell us both.

Michael Olise from Reading who has 10 assists 6 goals this year.

David Brooks from Bournemouth, still only 23, who looked boss before his long injury and has 6 assists 5 goals this year, not bad considering he’d need a year to get back fully fit.

Young Oumar Niasse, promising striker at Huddersfield...you get my point though. There’s some very good players down there.

I always like looking in the championship, but its alway good to have a mix.
Maybe 2 players from the championship (Aarons & Olise?)
A superstar in the James mould, someone we would never get without Carlo
And one more signing of the Doucoure MO, experienced but hungry and know the league.

People can get carried away with having a strategy of 'only buy under 23s' or sell on value.
The best teams always have a good blend

When Man City first got their money they didn't always go out and buy big name foreign players.
They took the best players of teams in the rest of the premiership and their rivals.
We are in a similar boat.
St Maximin would be one of those players.
Unfortunately injury prone but he makes things happen.
Jota would have been another one if he hadn't gone somewhere else.
We did that with Williams, Sigurdsson, Bolasie

He’s garbo and can’t even get in the Arsenal team anymore.

While there's always a chance, based on what we've seen of him and the balance of probability it'd not be a sensible signing in the slightest.

Arsenal's defence is far from solid and yet he can't even get near their starting XI.

I'm not trying to be funny but have you two seen him play a few games for Arsenal?

Gabriel, Tierney and Saka have been leagues above the rest of their players.

Martinelli is quality as well but doesnt start under Arteta.

For me, Godfrey + Gabriel would be potentially the best pairing in the league.

We have so much 'experience' in the team and squad already.

In centre midfield for example we only have Davies u25....Gbamin is 25 now i think.

Defence we need a young long term right back and centre back a player next to Godfrey long term.

For me it all points to long term signings.

Maybe one at the most. But 3 or 4 from
the championship is not going to kick us on next season.

Everyone raves about Leicester, the team the transfer strategy. Yet they’ve regularly had 4 players over 30 in their team this season

Yes. He didn't start yesterday, he was poor against Fulham, he didn't start against Sheffield United and against the RS he was all over the place.

That's only this month and I remember he didn't start a few games in March as well although being fit; when he did, he didn't look stable and reliable.

League above the rest doesn't really fit the narrative, does it?

Ive just asked if youve watched him play a few games...

...not what matches the 'genius' Arteta hasnt played him in.

Id be surprised if Arsenal fans didnt rate him as their best centre back (not saying much)...hes got all the tools.

I think he'd be a bargain signing under £30mil and Martinelli as well who isnt being played.

Dont you rate Martinelli either ?

Saka is the one though.
