Everton Summer transfers 2021

Right back is still a massive priority for me

I said it last season and I will say it again Coleman should be backup

Looks like we may be priced out of Aaron’s but I mentioned Dumfries as a target last season and he has 2 goals and 6 assists for PSV this season.

He wouldn’t cost a bomb and his wages would be quite low.

Brands should be all over this given that he was their former director of football

In a recent report, The Daily Mail has stated that Everton are locked in a three-way battle for Chelsea playmaker Ruben Loftus-Cheek this summer. It is believed that the Toffees will have to battle Aston Villa and Southampton to acquire the English midfielder’s services either on loan or permanently during this summer transfer window (via The Daily Mail).
He is on 150k a week...no club will pay that, not even us.

...yep, I read lots of ‘coward’ comments etc on here & I’m not doubting the attitude of certain individuals is open to question but ultimately I think it was down to an extremely unbalanced squad.

Not one consistently effective wide midfielder, no pace or mobility in key areas, no sharing of goalscoring responsibility. We were set up to play away from home but couldn’t sustain pressure at home.

Attitude is a key criteria in player acquisition (I call it ‘play like the game matters’), but we have too many players of the same ilk. That’s more down to failings in recruitment, I actually think 4 coming in could make a difference.
Yes agreed it's very imbalanced and lacking in key attributes you need in this league. It's lacking in depth, lacking in a right side lacking in dynamism. I know the football was poor but that's why I think Carlo did fine in some ways with this squad to get us into the European places hunt, the frustration was the last few months and the awful home forn. Anyway that's gone we must resolve some of these issues its as important if not more so than who we appoint as coach.
