…because any link of DCL to one of the worlds great clubs is worth highlighting to those who continue to preach that no top club would ever be interested in him.
I don’t doubt teams would be interested in him. More concerned about the insinuation that we’re goosed financially personally. So hoping the whole article is garbage lol

The issue is FFP. It’s not gone away.

I understand that some of the loss can be off set against the stadium. I think
I read about £55m. Given that we can only lose £105m over three years that still seems to mean we are still £80m over.

I am no expert in this stuff so happy to be corrected and shown how we can waste spend another wedge.

FFP due to be changed next season. With how skint clubs are I doubt UEFA will be hammering anyone for breaching the current and soon to be binned rules.

We also have Kean who will likely fetch us £35+ million this window and we dont know how the stadium financing will be worked out - if USM Naming Rights gets paid as a one time hit into the accounts it'll obliterate our FFP worries even if its "intended" for the stadium as it will still count as revenue coming into the club.

He's dreadful, proper terrible.

I would have agreed up to Jan, i think lads just look at that Barca game and made their minds up, thought he had a good second half of he season at Wolves, he surprised me a bit, when he looks good he looks really good, he was really good down their right hand side.

If you are looking for a right full, perhaps not the best choice, but if you are looking for a wing back who can press - that is his fit. Thats the system Nuno plays, they player traded him for Doherty in that role.

The press love trying to pile misery on Everton fans - that's our part in the narrative.

I'd be surprised if Rodriguez didn't leave though.

DCL if he had a good euros - if Southgate deems to allow him on the pitch ahead of his top six mates.
