Loads of people would to be fair, and there are good reasons too. It doesn't reflect well on Brands if that really is the case.

He's set for life after he leaves Everton.
Of course he is. By most peoples standards he was set for life before he came. That doesn't really affect the point at hand though; I have no real interest in Brands' work ethic in any other role he ever had or has, but it is very concerning as a fan of Everton if he is content to take a wage from the club without actually doing anything to earn it.

Kean £35-40 million
James £10-15 million
Thats £50-55 million likely coming in for a start with 150k+ a week in wages off the books - potentially add the likes of Benard and Kenny leaving for a few quid and Benards 100k wages on top of Bolasie, Walcott, Besic and Penningtons wages off the books.
Think we'll spend around £100 million.

I don't know that he will because he's expensive and constantly hurt. I'm not sure there's a long list of teams wanting to pay a fee on top of that for him that he'd also go to. It's not that straightforward when you pay some one 150k a week to be hurt for half of them.

Player of his quality will always have suitors certainly for the fee quoted not like we'll be demanding £25+ million for him.
Delph and Gbamin are another story however.

Can't believe people seem happy enough for James to leave, he might only have played 22 league games but that Anfield cameo showed exactly why we can't let him leave. Players like him are hard to come across. Full preseason and I think he will be ready to hit the ground running.
