Hi! My name is Brad and i'm a Everton supporter from the United States city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

I've been a Everton fan since 2011. I originally became a fan because our #1 goalkeeper Tim Howard players for Everton, as well as other U.S. greats that were toffees as well like Brian McBride and Landon Donovan.

The Americans guided me to Everton, but what made me really into a fan was what the club was about. The way they played, the school of science, it being the people's club, that they can produce good results and find talent on a limited budget, the passion, knowledge and objectiveness of it's supporters. It's something I wanted to be apart of.

In fact when I graduate college in the fall of 2015, I will be going to Goodison to see them play.

To answer the question: No, I don't believe in putting pineapple on pizza. I tried it once and thought it was tasted disgusting on pizza.

You could check out the historical stuff like longest to play in the top flight in England and being founder members of the football league as the world knows it and loads more. The 70s and 80s were pretty good too with football hooliganism across the country. A great day out all round.

I read up on some of the historical aspects of Everton, as well as watched the official history DVD Everton has made. So I know about important players like Dixie Dean, Ted Sagar, Dave Hickson etc as well as the noteworthy aspects Evertonians can we can be proud of that you mentioned.

No when I got into following Everton, it was important for me to learn as much as I can about the club because I wanted to and because I don't want to be that stereotypical foreign fan who doesn't know the past of the club he or she is supporting. When you support a club, it's important to know your history.

Regarding hooliganism, I watched a few documentaries about it on YouTube. Including the documentary Channel 4 made in 2002 and that series about hooliganism in different regions of England that was hosted by Danny Dyer.

They usually throw knives in people's backs as well Brad. Just be careful. And one more thing....avoid vaguely political threads unless you want to age 10 years in a day.

Thanks for the advice @bluemangroup!

As for avoiding the political threads, i'm actually a political science major in college with a desire to work in government once I graduate (small tidbit, I actually wrote a 30 page paper on the differences between the British Parliament and United States Congress for one of my political science classes) and I love politics. Whatever it's about policy, elections etc. I just love it and that goes back to an early age.

That being said i'll probably avoid the political threads because there are sites I go on to talk politics and because just reading a few pages of the official political thread, I would have to be on my medal to get by because the people who regularly post in that thread seem to be extremely knowledgeable on British politics (especially @Bruce Wayne).

Don't ever tell @Bruce Wayne you said that. Ever.
