Might have a chance with yarmolenko you know what's the Kiev owner say again ?

Recently he said if a club make an offer I am happy with, and the player likes that club, then he will go.

But I was also told that we have gone from being the most active of suiters over several windows, to now being silent with Kiev.

That was a week or 2 ago mind. Basically, we were all over him like a rash, (RM included), but nothing of late.

Read into that what you will.

That what I thought roydo thanks yeah

Surely we will see a clearance of at least 5-6 players... not including our main assets.

Hibbert osman gibson Mirallas pienaar Howard

We have a re build on our hands.

I would get Mitrovic off Newcastle as a back up striker, 21 years old, 1 in 2 record in Belgium and 1 in 3 record in him first prem season.

I know we need a lot of new faces, but I'm just as curious to see if Martinez comes calling for anyone (assuming he takes a new job).

So excited for the new manager and transfer window... saying goodbye to Howard, Hibbert, Gibson, McGeady, Kone, Osman, Pienaar, potentially also even Oviedo, Cleverley, Niasse if the manager, as I hope he does, sees through them and realises they are also liabilities through lack of ability or fitness.

75m transfer budget, possibly supplemented by selling Lukaku for 50m and needing to buy seven or eight new players... exciting. New goalkeeper is a must, new right back, I'd be hoping the new manager looks for a rock in the centre of midfield knowing that new season is Barry's last with us, an exciting left midfielder, two top strikers if Lukaku leaves, maybe a stronger centre back in the knowledge that Jagielka is on the decline and should no longer be first choice and Mori isn't reliable enough.

Basically a new spine to the team (GK, CB, CM, ST). Get some leaders in, proven talented players. Move the captain's armband to one of the new players, nobody deserves it from the current squad. Can't wait for things to happen.

A new manager is going to need a full 3 years of rebuilding, a new spine will need to be his first priority, that's where the majority of the money needs to go. Then he needs to ship out the absolute guff like mcgeady, gibson, cleverly, niasse, kone....
