McCarthy played very well in a very specific role that was assigned to him.

We need to look at the quality of player we were up against today... Griezman, Payet, Giroud,Pogba and Kante to name just five.

No problem with result. Out did ourselves by getting outa the group and fans were the best thing about the tournament.
LooKing for friends there are sites you can visit. Sure you are well aware of them
 
I have seen a lot of posts in which a player is judged, based on his appearance at the EURO. I think it is ridicilous for a club these days to decide to buy a player only because he did or didn't perform well in 3 games. When you have like 200 scouts working for you and all sorts of available info, it just seems very wrong.
Having said that, I think Milik is a good option. A few sitters missed, yes, but if you only consider the Polish games in this tournament, you could really think that Lewandowski is not better than Straq. I think that Glik could be a very good option too.
